The FBI Washington Field Office and the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia have announced the court authorized seizure of virtualine.net, the domain of the bulletproof hosting provider Virtualine, also known as Secury, Massgod, Spamhouse, Lanedo and Omegatech. Prosecutors say Virtualine openly advertised on Exploit.in and HackForums for phishing, carding, email spam and port scanning, sold a March 2026 additional protection plan that moved criminal infrastructure to an unrelated shell company after law enforcement requests, accepted direct unhosted bitcoin payments and laundered the proceeds, and knowingly kept hosting a criminal forum selling access to explicit images of minors despite notices from German, Canadian and Australian police, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and a victim's attorney. The investigation was assisted by Germany's Polizei Hessen, the Netherlands' Politie Midden-Nederland, the UK National Crime Agency and private partners OverRIPE and Lumen.

Chainalysis, which supported the investigation, says Virtualine payment addresses link directly to ransomware operators, infostealer infrastructure, cybercrime forums, illicit shops and scam and phishing addresses. Virtualine disputed the allegations on virtualine.org within hours of the seizure and said customer data was safe; parts of the wider Omegatech network remain reachable with very low routing visibility.
