Pattison Food Group, which operates the More Rewards loyalty program for Save-On-Foods, Buy-Low Foods, PriceSmart Foods, Nesters and Quality Foods in Western Canada, discovered unauthorized activity on one of its servers on October 13, 2026 and shut it down the same day. On October 16 the company confirmed that personal information in the More Rewards database was accessed, including names and, where provided, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and dates of birth.

The company says that, based on the information available to it, no passwords, credit card data or transaction history was accessed, and that More Rewards accounts themselves remain secure. Affected customers were emailed on October 16, and the appropriate authorities and privacy regulators were notified. The company has not said how many customers are affected, so the record count is pending.
