SpaceX reported third quarter 2026 results on October 20, 2026. Total revenue was $14.58 billion, up 161 percent year over year and ahead of consensus estimates of about $12.7 to $12.9 billion, with GAAP net income of $4.4 billion against a $1.1 billion net loss a year earlier, the company's first solidly profitable quarter since going public. The Super Intelligence segment, formerly reported as AI, generated $7.56 billion, up 830 percent year over year, making it the company's largest segment for the first time. Connectivity, the Starlink segment, produced $5.25 billion, up 69 percent, and the Space segment $1.77 billion.

The segment growth was driven by the activation of major cloud services agreements, including data center and cloud compute contracts with customers such as Anthropic, Google and Reflection AI, the integration of Cursor, acquired earlier in 2026, and rising Grok usage. Capital expenditure was $19.6 billion in the quarter, most of it AI infrastructure, with nameplate compute capacity at 1.7 gigawatts at quarter end, up from 1.4 gigawatts in June and 0.6 gigawatts a year earlier. The company ended the quarter with about $90 billion in cash and marketable securities, and Starlink subscribers reached 13.6 million.
