A network disruption at Nasdaq's Carteret, New Jersey facility caused intermittent gaps in the market data feeds for all of Nasdaq's US equities markets on October 15, 2026. Nasdaq's alert went out at 11:27 AM Eastern and said multiple multicast groups were affected, covering both the primary ("A") and secondary ("B") hardware and software feeds for Nasdaq, Nasdaq Texas, and Nasdaq PSX. Clients were advised to switch to unaffected backup feeds originating from Nasdaq's Chicago facility and to submit recovery requests for any missing data.

Nasdaq confirmed later the same day that all systems were restored and operating normally; the verified reporting does not publish an exact restoration timestamp. A person familiar with the matter told Reuters the disruption was a routine network issue rather than a failure of the exchange's internal systems, and that trading itself was not impacted. No indication of a cyberattack has been reported.
