Nvidia invests $3 billion in Meta and deepens Muse partnership as offering rises to $97.5 billion

Nvidia said on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 that it is investing $3 billion in Meta's equity offering and will partner with Meta to improve its Muse AI assistant and related models. Meta's Muse models and agents run on Nvidia infrastructure, and the two companies will work more closely to improve performance and reduce costs. Muse, modeled on the open source agent OpenClaw, can access a user's email, calendar, payments, health, shopping and smart home applications, with users able to revoke access at any time. The companies may also explore working together on Nvidia's OpenShell framework for safe software deployment and its Sentry tool for monitoring how AI agents behave.

Earlier the same day, Meta increased its equity offering to $97.5 billion, the largest fundraising in its history, as it accelerates investment in AI infrastructure. Meta said it had sold $12.5 billion of preferred shares at $50 apiece and $25 billion of common stock at $625 per share, with about $60 billion more in an at the market share sale program that includes its planned Class C non voting shares. Nvidia's $3 billion is part of the up to $5 billion that Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom had earlier agreed to buy in aggregate.
