OpenAI Decisions API is generally available
OpenAI's Decisions API reached general availability on October 22, 2026. The API is built by reconfiguring ChatGPT Luna rather than training a dedicated decision model, and returns a choice, a predicate or a score with a confidence figure in 100 to 180 milliseconds. A single request can carry up to 400 questions, twice the beta limit.
Pricing is $0.10 per million input tokens with no charge for output tokens, and cached input costs $0.01 per million. The general availability release adds voice and image inputs alongside text and JSON. Early users named by OpenAI include Box, Datadog, Ramp and Speak.
