Warhorse Studios confirms cyberattack; attackers accessed company systems and data
Warhorse Studios, the Czech developer of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series, confirmed on October 27, 2026 that attackers gained unauthorized access to company systems and company data. In a statement on a dedicated security incident page on its own site, and in a statement on X, the studio said it is working with cybersecurity specialists, coordinating with the relevant authorities, and assessing the full impact of the incident. Chief executive Martin Frývaldský called it a serious incident and said the immediate priority is to secure systems, establish the full extent of the breach, and protect employees, partners, and the community.
The studio has not disclosed what data was accessed, when the intrusion occurred, or whether player data is involved, and it has not confirmed any impact on its projects in development. The studio, which employs more than 300 people and reports more than 17 million copies sold across the series, said it will share further verified information when it becomes available. Prepared as a Cybersecurity item, not a Breaches add: no affected count or confirmed data set has been stated.
